comprehensive reviews of the state of world fisheries and aquaculture,
market reviews for world fisheries, reviews of fisheries management
practices and regional fishery boards, environmental concerns for
fisheries, a review of socio-economic factors, and downloadable fisheries
databases and applications.

- AFS Computer User Section
Fishery Related Electronic Mailing Lists - this site lists the many
fisheries related electronic mailing lists available to anyone with an
internet connection. Subscribe to one of these lists, and receive daily
information, including research ideas and questions, job opportunities,
and policy and management issues.
- Oceans and Coastal Resources: A
Briefing Book - A "Briefing Book" compiled by the
Congressional Research Service, a branch of the Library of Congress,
providing nonpartisan research reports to members of the House and Senate.
These tend to be very good summaries of topics of current interest in
ocean and coastal resources (especially those facing legislative or
regulatory changes). These are the summaries your representatives are
using for guidance.

for students interested in anything marine science in South Carolina
